E-books, plus now available for Wyoming students | Local News


SHERIDAN – Educators, parents and public librarians in Wyoming have two new online resources at GoWYLD.net to promote the love of reading and learning – TumbleBooks and TeenBookCloud.

TumblebookLibrary contains curated collections of eBooks and eBook Audiobooks in multiple formats including animated books, talking picture books, chapters to read, National Geographic videos, non-fiction books, lists of reading, graphic novels and more. This content is available for streaming only and is not downloadable.

TeenBookCloud is an online database of eBooks and educational resources available to middle and high school students. It offers a selection of graphic novels, enhanced novels, e-books, classic literature, National Geographic videos, educational resources and e-audiobooks.

“We are delighted to provide these eBooks always available for Kindergarten to Grade 12 students,” said Jamie Markus, Wyoming State Librarian. “This is a fantastic resource, and just like other GoWYLD.net resources, they are available statewide to anyone with a Wyoming library card.”

To use TumbleBooks and TeenBookCloud, go to GoWYLD.net and search databases by title, or find both in the Digital Library link. The Wyoming State Library purchased Tumblebooks and TeenBookCloud with American Rescue Plan Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. These two resources will be made available to residents of Wyoming until September 30, 2022.
