Last minute gift ideas from local independent booksellers

With the holidays in full swing and Christmas upon us, it can be difficult to get those last perfect gifts for the people on your list. KPBS Midday Edition caught up with a few local independent bookstores for some last minute gift ideas.

Seth Marko, co-owner of South Park’s favorite novels, The Book Catapult for the Year, features Anthony Doerr’s “Cloud Cuckoo Land,” in which the author “shows the thin threads that connect people,” said Marko, as well as “Matrix”. by Lauren Groff.
